Check for new files
What's New? is a DOS program that lets you know what new directories and/or files have been created or changed on your hard disk since the last time you used the program. It will report new paths, new files in new paths, and new files in old paths. Probably the best use for the program would be to check for files installed by a new program. Although What's New? performs as advertised, it requires too much work on the users part to be truly effective -- you must run a batch file and executable prior to checking for changes, and the same batch file and executable after making any changes. Much easier, more automatic options exist, particularly for Windows. This version is a minor update that makes some changes in the listings.
